Getting in is simple: download the launcher, let it fetch the client, create your account, and log in. That's it.
Head to our Download page and grab the launcher for your platform — Windows (TimeOfThePact.exe) or Linux (TimeOfThePact.AppImage). On Linux, make the AppImage executable with chmod +x TimeOfThePact.AppImage. On Windows, if SmartScreen appears click More info → Run anyway.
Run the launcher and it will download the full Vanilla 1.18.1 client directly — no separate downloads needed. Once the download completes, the launcher configures your realmlist automatically and keeps your client up to date with the latest patches.
Register your free account on our Create Account page — no email confirmation needed. Then launch the game through the launcher, log in with the username and password you chose, pick a realm, and create your character. Horde and Alliance share the same cities, groups, and raids — choose whichever race calls to you.
Already have a Vanilla 1.18.1 client? You can set the realmlist by hand instead of using the launcher. Open Data\enGB\realmlist.wtf (or enUS) in Notepad, delete everything, and paste the line below. Save the file.
After setting the realmlist, just run wow.exe and log in with your Time of The Pact account.
Check your realmlist is exactly set realmlist timeofthepact.co.uk with no extra lines. The realm may be restarting — check our Discord for live status.
On Windows, right-click → Run as administrator. On Linux, ensure the AppImage is executable (chmod +x).
The realm runs strictly on 1.18.1. If your client says a different version at the bottom of the login screen, let the launcher download the correct client for you.
